I've done the maths in my head and I think I've spent at least over €500 (probably closer to €600) on making my own streaming service. I bought a Plex lifetime membership, a Raspberry Pi, a 16TB external HDD, a Nvidia Shield Pro.
Once again, piracy is a service issue, not a price issue. I can torrent whatever the fuck I want on my, put it on my hard drive and watch all my own shit from my server.

If College / University students in the West had to work for the 100,000 to 250,000 dollars cost of attendance BEFORE they went to College / University, admissions would be down 90%.
