There are politicians who have ordered wars that have resulted in murders of multiple human civilians
And yet society would say it would be unethical to keep these politicians trapped in cages and then execute them and make them into food
Then there are farm animals who have killed no humans and society would say that it is perfectly ethical to keep these animals in cages then execute them and make them into food
I am not endorsing cannibalism because it spreads diseases
So some person says "not in my back yard"
but what they really mean is
"not in my neighbors back yard"
They are intruding in their neighbors yards while pretending to be regulating their own yard
It is as if they are stealing and appropriating their neighbors yard by calling it their own yard and then saying that their neighbor must not be permitted to do what they do not want done in their own yard
