We should tax any parents for each child they send to public school or any private school that receives government funds
If one parent requests to send the child to publicly funded school and the other does not then only the parent who sends the child to the publicly funded school should pay the tax
If someone homeschools or unschools their children without government funding then they should not pay the school tax

I would rather have to pay a 10% tarriff only when I buy products from a foreign country and have no sales tax on buying products from my own country

@shortstories Christianity hasn’t been the “default setting” for over a half-century; people are now obliged to at least sort of already *want* to be one - which provides us a handy bar-for-entry at keeping the bottom-rung IQ set out. We still have a few but it’s not as bad as it used to be.
