@shortstories @nice-joke it's a reference to f.a.t. or file allocation tables, a filesystem architecture for 32-bit systems. since each file's size was respresented in number of bytes, and since the largest 32-bit number is 4,294,967,295 (~ 4GB), the largest filesize in an FAT was 4 GB
There were secret spells in elder scrolls the arena if you selected spells in the right order and you might have also had to select the target type touch vs range and so on in the right order
I do not know if it was possible to get any of them to actually do anything other than nothing or crashing the game though
might have crashed the game even before spell purchase
one secret spell might have been named cage
I wonder if it was a bug accessing text from another part of the data file?
Sometimes there used to be secret classes, races and genders if you selected
select class, race or gender instead of the actual class, race or gender when prompted to select a class, race, or gender
But I think they just made it more difficult tp play the game & not easier because it was a bug and not an intended feature and maybe you had to be careful not to crash the game
