Working recently with a 40’s Mexican guy. Asked him if he’s married or has kids. He slowly sighs and shakes his head. Says it’s not even worth trying. It’s too hard , too expensive, women always want more. Doesn’t even try to have a relationship with a woman.

Agree, TWRA is the pivot. I don’t remember exactly what he said, will listen again sometime. But glad someone else was going at same issues from different camp.
It's very hard to do but sometimes doing what is healthy and best for you means you have to part ways with those closest to you. I think as long as you can let go and not be bitter or resentful you're just taking care of yourself. The way they should support you in doing.
yes this is a curse for guys. On the other hand, men can form real friendships. They have to be handled with care, given space and respect but can be true brohoods.
I have about 3 good friends that really keep me going. One is out of state and we haven’t seen each other in years but he’s always a brother.
A woman who doesn’t support her man’s friendships is a big red flag. He’ll be in trouble when he’s all alone and things get tough with her.
