Coworker told me a story about how twenty years ago he got a job in Canada for a client I'll call Business Company Incorporated (BCI). They needed some specialty equipment for a process they had. He goes back to America after having taken all the measurements and finds a small company to work with him on finishing the design so that it could be fabricated for BCI.

That small company soon after gets bought out by ABB. BCI then gets a quote from ABB in Canada for the same thing. They literally pull out the drawing with my coworker's name on it and agree to sell BCI the product.

My coworker eventually gets an opportunity to meet the guy who made the deal. He said he walked into his office and it's a scrawny paki or jeet. Then he asks him, "What the hell man? You agreed to give me the job which I already spent time and money designing and then gave it to ABB?"

"It was cheaper that way."

"Yeah, because they stole the design I made."

"I don't understand, it was cheaper."

Scammer race.

Christians will blame the atheist for any failure or bad luck they have.
But when all goes well, credit goes to their god.

Edit: Applies most other religious practitioners as well. Christians are just the worst and most annoying at this, at least where I live

In case you still don't see the dangers of State mass surveillance assisted by AI, Flock security footage and cameras can be accessed by anyone who accesses stolen police logins.
Police officers are being so careless with their Flock logins and just handing them to colleagues and friends in agencies who should have no access to Flock. Also, Flock didn't have Multi-Factor authentication on by default.

Quick stab at creating a ceiling hook for a hang lamp. Left, #FreeCAD version, right the original for EUR 7.

Test print came out fine, but the hole should be slightly wider. My design takes an M4 screw which you tighten with a screwdriver through the whole body. Not sure if I'll design a cap to glue over the hole at the bottom.
