@LysanderMooner There's zero reason to be a Christian, Nietzsche or no Nietzsche.

Christianity is a Jewish psyop, that preaches weakness (poverty good, pride/revenge bad, turn the other cheek, confess your secrets, blindly follow the church, etc.). As an individualist, this is obvious poison for the mind.

Meanwhile, the religion that gave birth to Christianity, preaches pretty much the exact opposite.

@Based_Accelerationist or was jesus a pagan hero character invented by the romans to pacify the jews?

@LysanderMooner We'll never really know without being there to witness the creation of the deception.

However, we CAN observe the consequences. And observable reality shows Jesus served as a tool to subjugate gentiles and to replace their ancient belief systems with the travesty we have today. So regardless of how it came to be, Christianity became the most successful pro-Jewish movement in history and that tells me everything I need.

@LysanderMooner

Denying yourself short term pleasures is not slave morality but self control to keep you from being enslaved by feeling obligated to do things for pleasure

I do not think Stirner denies the existence of God

Reading or listeining to Stirner in the Ego and his own might be more time efficient than Nietzsche

Nobody has convinced me that Nietzsche taught anything worthwhile that Stirner has not taught in less words and more time efficiency

So I never bothered with Nietzsche

@shortstories @LysanderMooner you can be like Constantine and see Jesus as a manifestation of the broader divine. He thought Jesus was a manifestation of Sol Invictus. Alan Watts talked about Jesus being a Buddha.

Personally, I think Christianity is a shit religion, and was only beneficial when joined with a healthy dollop of Roman traditions and values, which have long since been removed.

However you can still acknowledge Jesus as you pursue your own spiritual path.

@Tfmonkey @shortstories @LysanderMooner I like my Jesus,age 12-30 years old,coming of age Jesus,learning to become a man,searching out the world for the lost Tribes of Israel Shamans to learn ancient miracles ,Water to wine from a drunken master,Cast out demons into pigs from a Druid,walk on water from Ninja etc…

youtu.be/ou2_3K_1tEg?

@Scubbie are you full of the holy Spirit and walking with Jesus?

@Scubbie @Tfmonkey @shortstories @LysanderMooner This dietary Law is to avoid diseases and don't be defenless when reach eldery age you do you.
