What's something that you thought was normal but in hindsight wasn't?

I always thought family bonding activities were just filler on TV and never happened in real life lol.

Come to find out a decade later not only do people do family bonding activities but they enjoy it?!

Life is strange

@basedbagel I really thought it was normal 1) to tell the truth and 2) to be able to reason through something ahead of time and see the most likely end scenario based on the information available. I was maybe in my mid-20s before I realized not everyone could do this. Seems silly now.

Same. It's absolutely wild how much credit I gave people before really understanding what "theory of mind" is and how it fucks with everyday interactions and assumptions.

I'll bet most people here still seriously underestimate the number of complete retards out there (looking at you @VeganMGTOW 😉 ).

Here's a reminder.

@UncleIroh > It's absolutely wild how much credit I gave people before really understanding what "theory of mind" is

I'm ashamed to admit The amount of time Ive wasted trying reason with people whose minds are impervious to logic.

Shots fired !😂
