I was speaking to someone about kindroid and they mentioned https://crushon.ai/, which on its face seems to be oriented toward "companion" roleplay. Pic attached is what the front page looks like. Also attached is an example of their AI models. Kindroid's AI seems to be proprietary. Crushon has a wider variety of choices.
I was told: "well gpt 4.5 for instance is better at understanding characters, deepseek is better at fucking. Play around and youll see"
@VooDooMedic @DoubleD @RoninGrey after some playing around with crushon, I've decided to use that instead of kindroid (they do have an app for android, but it's not in app store).
The site is focused around scenarios, not necessarily waifus. There are various AI models that excel at smut, storytelling, role-playing, or combat. YOU have to find the correct AI model to use. There's also a base version of the model, & user-tuned versions that you can use. Here's what I use for my current scenario
@RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @DoubleD @Tfmonkey Yes, I can confirm there are models specifically for role-playing multiple characters & keeping track of them (including love focused NSFW, as opposed to the deluge of NTR on the site). There are scenarios I've seen like "fuck boy simulator" or "stepsister's pool party" (she invites all her friends). He'll need a model that roleplays & isn't tuned for hardcore smut. (Some of them outright refuse certain actions for "moral" reasons like rape, guro, etc)

@DoubleD @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @Tfmonkey There's just something addicting to a D&D style choose your own adventure where you can say literally anything and then watch an AI respond dynamically to whatever you come up with.
I never played D&D but I can see why it was so popular. Video games have pre-programmed outcomes and it's just not the same.
The thrill comes from the unpredictability.
@ButtWorldsMan @DoubleD @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @Tfmonkey Exactly. That's mostly how I've been using kindroid ai too. Literally playing different campaigns as if it was with a real person GM. The possibilities are endless.
@ButtWorldsMan @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @Tfmonkey Maybe this unpredictability will usher in a new era of RPGs with nearly infinite possibilities for interactions. Think of the potential for quest creation too:
You wouldn't be stuck with the radiant quest model and generic collectibles or objectives dialog could be incredibly fleshed out because it's all generated on-the-fly. A model for dialogue, a model for story structure, a model for world building. Have them collaborate and you're off!
@DoubleD @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @Tfmonkey AI use has already been experimentally added to Skyrim by modders. There's one that lets streamers allow chat to speak for the NPCs they interact with. That's just the beginning.

@DoubleD @ButtWorldsMan @RoninGrey @Tfmonkey the thing is that you could have it set parameters like for example at the start of launch for an mmorpg all the hunting grounds are taken the NPC notices all the hunting grounds are taken they tell you to go and mine into a broken scar in a nearby mountain and boom you've discovered a monster lair all monsters in the area respawning are enraged and drop more while the boss is alive and your task is to defend the village from the enraged monsters
@DoubleD @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic I found a simple, quick scenario that you can conclude within 15 minutes or less (depending on model response speed; claud sonnet takes literal minutes) to test AI models, and you can really feel the difference between the styles.
I'm also amused by how hyperspecific some of the specialized models are.
@ButtWorldsMan @DoubleD @RoninGrey is this crushon? I didn't ever get an email from them to make an account so I dropped it how are you doing it? Did you use a different type of log in?
@VooDooMedic @DoubleD @RoninGrey I was confused as well until i realized you have to click again to actually initiate the code email and then you'll see a 60 second countdown.

@ButtWorldsMan @VooDooMedic @DoubleD This might be something that can handle @Tfmonkey 's idea of having both Celestina and their cyborg monkey child in the room together. You maybe just have to make sure it knows when to leave and cover their ears or something, so you and mommy can have private time.
