@Shadowman311 She's going to dump him; I'm calling it now.

@Justicar He could be saying to point out the ridiculousness of it. I don't think Tim or his handlers are that stupid.

@VD15
"I don't on there for anything else..."

She's lying.

@Based_Accelerationist @ButtWorldsMan I'm inclined to agree about the message on the tank/ tank transport.

im sending this to my friends tomorrow. if you know you know. :top_kek:

@Autumn I didn't have one of these growing up, but I had trees. The /real/ jungle gym.

@ButtWorldsMan I predict this is theater. I think things aren't bad enough for it to be organic.

@Based_Accelerationist @RoninGrey It's good that you're honest about it, and I hope you can find meaning in your crusade. (Pun not intended.)
At least we know where we disagree: it's a matter of valuation and patience. That's okay. I still enjoy your posts, even if we don't agree on everything.

@Invictus @Stuxnet1984 Thank you both. I need to contemplate this further. I never considered using it as an example of what to be to others.

@Based_Accelerationist @RoninGrey ...we must work within a model that they understand because people don't want to debate ideas and be convinced. They don't want the naked truth. They want to feel like they're making the right choices. If you try to force them to look at the truth, whatever it might be and that truth destroys their identity, they will deny their eyes and resent you for showing them.
To positively affect their lives they must be willing to take the truth into their identity.

@Based_Accelerationist @RoninGrey I can respect your passion and your desire to protect your genes. I'm glad I didn't mute or block you because you clearly care, and that matters, and you're willing to actually consider and ask questions.
If we're talking only about facts, then we have to talk about the fact that even if Christianity as a religion promotes communism at its root, there are billions of Christians. If we are to prevent communism among your people, whichever they are then...

@DoubleD @Invictus This is the expression of one man, King David. As with anyone’s personal life experience, it might differ from another’s perception. Nowhere does it say this is how you must conceptualize the creator, or else. Generally, this just highlights a loving God and good Father in David’s experience.

Remember, scripture also says, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12) This was David’s experience, you’re allowed to work out your own.

@Invictus What if you don't want to be a sheep though? What if you don't conceptualize God in this way because you've seen things that don't fit with this cosmological model? It's a comforting thought, but what if it doesn't fit?
I'm not poking fun either. I'm genuinely asking because this troubles me at times, this disharmony with ideas about God.

I could see making business connections perhaps since I believe it's reasonable to assume that more small business owners will lean conservative, but she also said that it could be a means to meet females.
This would only be possible via the indirect connection of myself -> business owner/responsible male -> his daughter from a traditional community similar to mine.

This all arose because our community is small and the demographics aren't ideal, but there are better options here than elsewhere.

I was speaking to one of the church wives from my Orthodox community recently, and she said that events like CPAC are good places to meet people and make connections.

I agree that connections can be made, but it largely depends on the types of connections one wishes to make.
Am I likely to meet people who are critical of all political viewpoints at first glance but lean more conservative because they're against most things in the left-wing, or am I going to meet mostly seals for the GOP?...

@Justicar The debtor is always a slave to the lender. It's good advice to keep in mind to guard against foreigner communities.
I think we need to bring back the distinction between citizens and non-citizens like Rome used to have. Just because you live somewhere doesn't mean you should have access to the levers of power.
