@Justicar This is yet another reason why dating would work better as the man trying to impress her father rather than the female. Marriage to suit a her feelings will always be emotional management.
For now don't get married unless you are in a patriarchal community where she isn't able to openly live out her emotions. I will remark that the guy's attitude in this comic isn't worthy of admiration either. You might not be 6' tall and a millionaire, but you can be proud and virtuous.
@jb @sickburnbro Or muslim
@deprecated_ii Classy old machines
@matrix I get the joke, but his knee was never on his neck if you look at the second officer's body cam footage. It's provable that Floyd didn't die from asphyxiation from what the officer did.
@Mondobizarrro The Catholic church could just let them get married before becoming priests, but that's a whole different story.
@Autumn They don't sing and dance, but they do have elephants and clowns, I'll give them that.
@Tfmonkey @VooDooMedic I know that "the known world" is a common expression referring to the West, but Chinese culture has had numerous empires that spanned thousands of years.
We need to settle on one definition of "known world" that doesn't keep changing. I am aware this sounds pedantic; just think about China's history.
@VooDooMedic @ButtWorldsMan You actually can. Afterall, she's not a thot, and you can backup her data.
@Autumn I know the point that's being made here, but the little girls on the left wouldn't necessarily be wearing hijabs either if they were muslim.
Also, the niqab seen on the right is culturally-expected in many cases, but not religiously mandated. A Shayla is halal and frames a female's face beautifully. Orthodox Christian females often wear something like a shayla as well.
@Shlomo He understands.
@VD15 Her outfit is impractical for working in the kitchen.
@UncleIroh She has at least one son who is in his 30's.
@Shadowman311 They do realized that if we can see it, it has color, I hope. if it didn't have color, that means light isn't reflecting or being projected into our eyes.
(Obviously that's not what this individual meant. I'm being silly to make the point that they're even more foolish.)
Obviously, this was an inconsequential conversation, but I mention it here as the point is not lost on people entirely. The cause is plain to see. The solution is what is really uncomfortable.
I had an interesting conversation with someone I know who works at a doctor's office. She is an older lady and conservative in the 1960's way. We were speaking about having a family, and I lamented that so few young males are. She said she saw it too and asked what could be done.
I said plainly, "It's the laws." She looked at me confused. I proceeded with the business partner analogy, and I could see that she comprehended my point. She even said that made sense why men wouldn't take that deal.
@Escoffier While I don't disagree with your statements, Mr. Starkey isn't proposing any solutions to replace the people who are in Britain. The fertility rate in the UK hasn't been at or above replacement since 1973.
Yes, I am THAT DoubleD.
No, I will not explain further.
