The first, new fruit tree of the season is in. With this and my new berry bushes the year begins again as the starlings and chickadees twitter outside my window.

@VD15 Seeing a giant mech roaming around and shooting big guns is really cool, yes, but that's about it. The act of balancing on legs is difficult. It makes sense if in-universe there is some reason to have them such as anti-grav jets don't exist or can't support the size of weapon, but I posit that track vehicles are superior still since they don't have the balance issues and can handle difficult terrain. Even with fusion cores like in Roguetech, you'd still be better off with large tanks.

@KingOfWhiteAmerica Excellent technique. Steam is the superior way to handle SSU eggs in terms of its efficacy to failure rate. Butter is a good choice here as well. I have no criticisms.

@Shadowman311 Just so everyone is aware "trickle down" economics was never something a serious economist advocated. It was a term invented by the pro-socialist, pro-progressive income tax media during the Eisenhower administration to disparage policies for cutting taxes. It's much older than Reagan.

@RoninGrey @KingOfWhiteAmerica This was a great conversation to read after the fact. Orthodoxy has all kinds of interesting nooks to explore, so I am learning more and more. The communities I've encountered are also stronger than any Protestant group I've encountered, save for the Anabaptists like the Mennonites and the Amish.

@deprecated_ii Those are rookie scribbles. Go big (and hard) or go home, and really paint a visual image of "civilizing" dominance. If she's going to read what he wrote, let it be as racy and ballsy as possible so she can't help but visualize it. Then she's pictured all those things in her mind.
