@VD15 While I agree that life is still beautiful and I dig the chad energy, there's nothing that precludes you from having a circle of friends. Just go do something and speak to someone there about that thing. You'll at least have an acquaintance, and maybe you'll have a friend. If you're an adult, you can have a friend. If we're talking about having someone who is there for you to support you no matter what (your Samwise Gamgee) then that may not happen any time soon. Those people are rare.

@deprecated_ii Any time I read the text, "As a woman...", I don't bother continuing. Any woman who has an argument to present that is worth considering on its own merit doesn't bother bringing herself into the conversation.

@RoninGrey All Amish teenagers are allowed to leave when they come of age. Most return, get married, and lead normal lives, but you have some that become strippers. The reputation of the Amish is why this when viral: it's an outlier.

@Shlomo We can't have a happy blend somewhere in between is seems.

@ButtWorldsMan At least when males have fun they only risk themselves in death-defying shenanigans. The female risks her life and the life of her child.

@Furgar Yes. I wish him all the best as an entrepreneur.

@Dicer You're not missing much. Most females are terrible kissers.

@Justicar We shall see. TFM's post this morning in the MMM is correct that Russia doesn't have to do anything to respond if they don't want to. They can just continue as they have been.

@YoMomz @Tfmonkey This is absolute heresy... I love it. 😆

I present to you, a lesson that has been forgotten that our fathers understood:
Beware women with false tongues promising all things to get men to marry them.
Such things we enshrined in folk songs like Herr Mannelig.

I suspect that the song was written not to refer to "trolls" as such but pagans as the male response is that he might if she were a Christian woman.
Songs like this help encourage men to support the culture and keep men from listening to their urges.
