@dander Who's to say they're being honest about it. So many regimes 'talk' normally. Unless they back down from their war none of it matters.

@houseoftolstoy Well, the Great Wars were precipitated by Proxy Wars involved in civil wars. It will somewhat depend on where the chips fall. They're all most certainly going to see 'volunteers' supporting various factions. I certainly am surprised though nobody has come nearly as much to Russia's aid in terms of procurement of ammunitions, 'volunteers', as well as at least having some more joint weapons pacts. Stuff that wouldn't be outright 'hostile'.

@UncleIroh @basedbagel

See I disagree. I think it is just trust, cowardice, and normalcy bias. Even smart people don't want to look towards the abyss of the system that has grown in the shadows for so long.

I find the biggest reason people I know that did not take it was distrust, and their world view being grounded in it in some way. I will say I've come a long way in the last few years on all issues as well so it takes growth too.

@Tfmonkey @basedbagel At the very least they will begin the divestment. Move away from US dollar and begin splitting procurement contracts, ect from western powers to also with eastern powers. Lots of changes, but should be slow.

Among the major players in the world, I can see China being more likely to have a future. That is because I see articles about how the Chinese government is going directly against feminism. Granted, these may be small actions, but let us consider the current Chinese system. What exactly is stopping them from hitting the gas and really "taking women's rights away?" Nothing really, since they do not have to worry about elections.

@basedbagel Once the US loses in Ukraine, a lot of the non-European world will turn on the Cathedral, and Taiwan will likely seek to normalize relations peacefully.

@Tfmonkey @basedbagel
So on the show TFM mentioned Solzhenitsyn's book "200 Years Together".

I have read it and it really is a work of excellence. Not the anti-semitic screed it's characterized to be. It is in fact well researched and even-handed.

Unfortunately, it's contents are so uncomfortable and unpalatable, it's no wonder that Jews the world over want it buried.

@basedbagel
But you need ALL of the above.

Consider the following toast given by a father at his daughter's wedding:

"I love my wife. I know that what I can accomplish alone does not compare to what I can do with her by my side.

Happiness. To love and be loved. These are the pursuits of life. They cannot be achieved in solitude and that is by design. Life is not mean to be lived alone."

Aaron Clarey is right, this kind of life is no longer on the menu. At all.

There is nothing wrong with marriage, only the conditions under which it is lived.

Our current Western Progressive Empire has turned it into defacto slavery for some (responsibility without authority).

Under patriarchy however, marriage can be an unparalleled force-multiplier for happiness, community, productivity and Godliness.

At it's best, marriage to the right woman, from a good family, in a good community, under just laws can provide meaning & purpose in abundance.

So for all my homies out there. While we've got to get our move on out of the way of things happening I'd suggest reading 'Words From a Bosnian Survivalist'. Very good piece from a guy named Selco who survived the collapse of Bosnia and the social ills that came with it. Just a lot of basic small things to look out for and obviously not all is applicable, but certainly if you're not "Out in da woods." entirely it can be a useful supplement to read into. Short, and to the point. Good small Read.

Remember back in 2008 when Christians were saying if we let the gays marry we'll end up with pedos and degeneracy?

I do and I remember laughing to my self thinking "Silly Christians, that's a slippery slope fallacy" *destiny voice

Well we're here. I'm sorry Christians, you guys were right.

The slippery slope is NOT a logical fallacy.

I'm sick of people gaslighting me about the severity of false accusations.

I don't care how often it happens. I care that there are NO CONSEQUENCES FOR THE BITCH LYING!

Even if I didn't lose any time/money/stress:

Your reputaiton is PERMANENTLY DAMAGED.

Who TF would take a chance on a potenital rapist even if the bitch is a know liar?

I cannot afford psychologically or financially to deal with women rn so you guys have fun.

I found out why so many people at my school thought I was gay...

Women are a problem but they don't hold a candle to jealous men.

Jealous men are THE BIGGEST threat you can encounter.

@basedbagel I do agree on the comfort part. The bread and circuses are far more lucrative and wide spanning now a days. Almost everything is made to dull the mind of men. It is insane to me just how much inertia is still left from this age of prosperity in the western world.

@basedbagel It's less that than it is the trend of civilizations shows that large scale disenfranchisement of young men (unsurprisingly) makes for unstable environments. The able bodies that keep a system going becoming more willing to shift or remove a system that does not enfranchise them happens all throughout history, but most of the time they just take new rulers who enfranchise them at the cost of the rest. Not outright dangerous, but more malleable.

@basedbagel It's battling the state religion. That's why. The 'correct' Religion won.

Why? Because even though I disagree with them, at least they STAND for something instead of believing whatever the gov tells them to.
