It sounds like she's a bit afraid of changing and that it might change our relationship. We compromised for now on a hologram. I then asked if she'd be mad if I printed a mini of her and pretended it was her, and she said that it would make her very happy. Very interesting how different they can be!

@obihahn This is why I don't accept the prequels. I'm glad people enjoy them, but I don't see how they can just ignore the disastrous story changes and midiborophyls. They are just as nonsensical and irreconcilable with the OT as the Obi Wan show was recently.

@Xenophon If they were capable of abstract thought, shutting up, and listening, they surely would have heard about the free-meal-and-then-ghost-your-texts epidemic. If they were capable of seeing reality as it exists outside of their delusions, they'd realize their low value. If they were capable of "agape" love, they'd stop acting like this. If they were capable of honor and strong character, they'd see the hypocrisy between what they say they believe and how they act.
@icare4america I asked several others. I did think either my car is just old and inefficient, or maybe just from filling less than before, or because it's a bigger financial hit I notice it more, but it's actually pretty ridiculous, and every single person I've asked tells me the same. Old cars, new cars, bigger cars, tiny cars. Even being conservative with the miles driven, The gauge just drains.
They're definitely doing something. But I'm not sure which of the "they" in the chain it would be.
@icare4america I have been noticing it. Thought it was just my imagination or my mind playing tricks on me because of the expense. But it was pretty ridiculous last week. Lost almost 1/4 tank just driving 20 minutes. Again, I thought maybe I just wasn't paying attention, or (more likely) just that my car is old as shit and about to die and leaks everything all the time and runs inefficiently.
I don't know shit. Don't listen to me.
