@shortstories I haven't watched the video, but just by bursting through it I think the secret is clay. They clear out the dead core, let the tree heal, apply a layer of clay and done. A water tank. But as they said at the end: Plastic bottles and containers are more practical, so they go with technology.

Apparently Ultra-Orthodox Haredi and Hasidic Communities do avoid learning higher level maths and physics, but simply because they focus on religious studies. This is perfectly understandable. This is how specialisation works. You neglect, what's irrelevant. You wouldn't study the Illiad in a Quantum Physics course.
According to google, the rest of them are just normal human beings. They study whatever they want and nobody really cares.

Proceeds to spend 17 minutes explaining how roman citizenship was simply a political tool. How it was used to pacify superior warrior cultures. And just in general to be used as an "elite" mentality, while no true roman ever existed.
Roman citizen meant the same as "American" today. Native Americans are "Americans", but everybody else just use it to pretend, that they're one nation. And at the same time bragging about their non-american origins.

Think about the process for a minute...
Instead of using an equipment, that create a predictable and fluid motion to work your muscles, you opt for this magnet idea, where you just keep exerting your strength, until you randomly experience a snap release. This is what you do, when you want to use your strength, not when you're training your muscles. And just because it's easily repeatable, won't change this.

@sfm2046 You didn't read Mein Kampf didn't you... not even a summary of it. Maybe you should consider spending that $35 just to get a clearer picture of his situation.
Hitler don't wanted to be the Fuhrer. He clearly stated in his book, that it need to be somebody else. He wanted the support role. He was a political propagandist and a great one. He practiced and perfected his craft to support this Fuhrer, who'll unite Germany. He only picked up the role, because the party asked him to do so.
@sfm2046 The problem with this attitude is, that you're missing out on understanding Hitler as a person. Conspiracy theorists love the Fuhrer Hitler, but Hitler himself explained it in Mein Kampf, that it was just an act.
Hitler, the person would be more sympathetic to the average person, because it would show, that he was only human with flaws and talents.
I mean, I'm pretty sure you would disprove Hitler's vegetarianism and his social awkwardness. Not to mention his neurotic behaviour.
@sfm2046 It's a great and painfully detailed book. Although I wouldn't be surprised, if many Hitler fans would vote it down, because it exposes him as fraud.
The sad reality of Hitler, is that he could've had been the Bill Clinton of Germany. Despite talking crap, he united Germany in hard times and had a reasonable plan to fix it... But then, he got greedy and fucked it all up. A 3 generation long slow rebuild would've worked and WW2 could've been avoided. He could've been remembered as a hero.
@sfm2046 The story of Hitler and his rise to power is just the age old story of demanding a simple explanation to a complex problem. It's the same idea ancient people had with Gods and pagan nature spiritis. You can see a pattern, but can't explain it, so you put a consciousness behind it.
This is the core problem with the present too. We're out of low hanging fruits to pick. Science is complicated and this include social sciences too.

@Mr_Mister @Tfmonkey This is a though one. But mostly because we don't know the laws, that lead to this outcome in Taiwan.
- We don't know, if this had any beneficial effects on his divorce. He was screwed out of a 75% of his demanded compensation, but we also don't know, if that was reasonable.
