Like any friends in group are leaders when it comes to deciding what to eat and where.
You decide to agree with them or not.
Does your friend group need leader to make decision for all where to eat?
Are you unable to make your decision what food you want to eat?

Why group discusion making is like family?
Because family is people that share only blood and often they do not share same goals and believes.
I think of it as friend group making discusions.
People with same interests and similar believes to your own.
Do you need any form of government to tell you and your friends what you will do today like parents do?
Or that they do not like your friend so you should stop meeting him?

When I was in grade school, the thought of the idea that the US would ever cease to exist or decline was just something that seem like crazy talk. But now, seeing the state of the world and the waning power of the US, I see the latter happening and the former being a very strong possibility. Wouldn't it be something if the United States of America was something you read about in some book rather than an existing country? In 100 or more years, that does not seem so crazy.

Yes we have many things that make life easier compare to previous generations.
But in current age we have many things that makes life harder for us
old system with debt and inflation never seen before
wages that are kept low
things are more complex compare to previous generation due to electricity and programming
with more use of internet we have large scale competition for relationships and jobs

Boomers could buy a house/car in cash and get married comfortably on a single income with an interest rate in the bank that beat inflation.
The only advantage us zoomers have today is easier acces to information and technology helping us do menial task faster.

Honestly I really don’t like when I hear boomers and gen xers talk about how easy millennials and gen z have it, when the reality is if they were to be young in this economy they would not be able to do any of the things they bragged about doing.
