The most important thing about longevity research is maintaining a calm pleasant state of mind for those extra years. Being a demented vegetable until 135 years old is not really "longevity". Learning how to stay happy and sane and keep on making a storied long term memory than we can access and maintain is more important than the BIG AGE NUMBERS. I don't want more of a shitty thing, I want more of an excellent thing.
you should strive for being able to buy a house near a village or small town. not too far away from people but definitely away form the noise of modern world and all the chaos and politics. get a few dogs, maybe have few chickens. grow a flower and fruit garden(for beauty and pleasure, not for food) and keep away form consumerism. enjoy a daily cigar or a pipe, have some whisky, roast some food on open fire, grill some steaks, enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of nature around you.
@Stahesh @TenaciousGoat definitely stay way from Universe! She sounds like a train wreck!
@TenaciousGoat I think universe will torment you all the time no matter what you choose. Because universe will find the way to fuck you over.
Had a conversation with my friend how I was feeling lonely and wanted a girlfriend. He gets a lot of female attention and has recently been focusing on himself and said something wise which is people always want what they can’t have and once they get it they don’t want it anymore or want something else it’s a matter of perspective.
The main problem with our political system is that the US constitution was trusted to the people to withhold its power, and the people decided that the government should instead. Why would you trust the government to enforce something that directly doesn’t benefit them?
The 2nd amendment exists for this very reason. We The People are responsible for keeping the government in check by right of to punish those who impose their will on us without our consent.
