@amerika A lot of religions are inseparable from the culture they come from, and when they're exported they adapt to the culture where they're transplanted (i.e. Asian Buddhism is different from Indian Buddhism due to the influence of Taoism and Chinese/Japanese culture.

Someone informed me that neo-nazis have their own version of Zen/Taoism called "Cosmotheism".

It's part of the "National Alliance" branch of neo-nazis, originally led by William Pierce (who died in 2002 and wrote "The Turner Diaries") .

I always wondered why white nationalists and nazis cuck for Christianity instead of something more "European" like Sol Invictus or something. I assumed they just had a boner for "tradition".

But hey, having your own Zen/Taoism is ever better than Sol Invictus

@dick Feminism won because women are the majority of voters. No politician or political movement can be viable that doesn't bend the knee and kiss the feet of women.

It will just keep getting worse until the system collapses under the weight of women's insatiable desire for money they didn't earn, or until men take women's rights away and restore the balance of responsibility and authority.

@RedPillAge Nah, it's more fundamental than that. Most people won't use a new platform if it's exactly like the old one, so in order to differentiate themselves they accept the exiles from the previous one.

However, the only way to be financially viable is to attract advertisers, which means eventually kicking out the people you invited in the beginning.

The real problem is that we've grown accustomed to free content paid by advertisements, and thus the advertiser is the real customer.

@RedPillAge you have to lower your bitrate to stop the buffering, but it makes the video choppy. It's a trade off but I think a smooth stream is more important than smooth video.

@DW2 It's because net worth is assets minus liabilities (i.e. debt).

The average person living a comfortable middle class lifestyle has no net worth because they have nothing, have a mortgage, car payment, etc. However, they're not homeless or anything.

Nothing is stopping people from spending less than they make and saving their money, but most choose no to do so. Capitalism didn't fail, self control did.

@apopheniac None of that matters. Ukraine is a proxy war between the US and Russia. The US won't allow the conflict to end, they want to keep Russia bogged down in Ukraine for as long as possible to prevent Russia from partnering with China during a future conflict. It's all in the RAND papers, which Russia knows about and Putin even commented on in a speech recently.
