@Pain66 Just little things like being lazy and not being enthusiastic about life in general. I create problems I have to solve unnecessarily.

It's like my hedonic scales need to reset my pain/pleasure balance.

I'm not breaking bad or anything.

I realized that when things go too well for me and I'm too happy for too long that I self sabotage in order to bring my life back down to a comfortable level of ... meh.

@rainignterror1080p If Russia nukes us, and destroys a dozen or so major US cities, it might actually be a net positive in the grand scheme of things

@dander I disagree with him about supporting UBI and believing automation is going to eliminate all jobs in 30 years, but then again, economics is emotionally unintuitive.

@dander No, we didn't have a falling out, but we don't run in the same circles, and I'm no longer relevant, and people don't reach out to collab with me anymore because I've been banned.

@lccmv it does seem like a contradiction that the ruling class supports democracy but hates populism until you understand that the ruling class simply support the trappings of democracy, but actually hates the people for whom democracy is supposed to be for.

They only support a form of democracy that they can subvert and control, hence they will say such and such is a threat to "our democracy" because populism cannot be a threat to democracy itself, only "their democracy".

Many of the former tellers becoming managers of the new branches based on their prior experience.

@kaiservenom "I can see that spanking my unruly children and being the head of my household works and solves all conceivable problems objectively, but it would divide me from my children and I'm not going to do it even though there is no alternative solution because I care more about my children's feelings than doing what's in their interests as the smarter, more mature, and responsible adult and parent."

- Western men as their world dies

@zebuceta white people don't season their births.
