If it's an online service, I can practically guarantee it's a lookup table in the DB, not a rainbow table.
Online services are not going to server-side intensive CPU processing creating tens-of-thousands of plain->hash->plain chains long.
And they're not going to transfer hundreds of gigabytes to tens of terabytes to your browser, so you can do the chain calculation client-side.
