Tech in general is ground zero for queer ideology & that won't change but there are other communities, always have been.

I've probably interacted with almost every type on that graphic and you'll find they all interact with each other.

E.g. Rust is a great language, it's origins are Mozilla, it's community is woke as fuck yet it serves just about every square on that pic in one way or another.

Almost by default BSD sysadmins are among the best out there, but it's not difficult if all you want is a basic AMP stack or single-use VPS.

If you want hardened jails, ZFS and other BSD goodies then sure, you might need help. I've found their community to be very helpful in the past.

As for drivers, etc.. that's a non issue for 95% of it's target audience - headless servers. There are plenty of cloud providers offering FreeBSD servers.

FreeBSD is perhaps the best, most rock-solid open source server platform out there with some of the longest uptimes to be found.

Configured correctly it's practically bullet-proof. Big fan.
