@Scubbie @Tfmonkey @VooDooMedic This shit will sell out
pre-sales faster than a Taylor Swift concert.

@VooDooMedic @Scubbie @Tfmonkey It looks like it is, but with electronics it takes a LOT more work to go from "one prototype" to mass production -- let alone mass production with actual promised functionality. And with more units and more users, you'll find more glitches as the usage varies from user to user. So it will never be as ready as you thought at the beginning.

@RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @Scubbie it's just a more advanced consumer animatronic. Disneyland and Chuck-E-Cheese have had these for decades. It's not that hard to do. They have kid's toys that are animatronic these days.

Maya and I were brainstorming a few weeks ago, and I came up with a wheelchair android design. Same as the guys who wheel around their dolls, but with a lightweight foldable wheelchair as an accessory for a doll --

The upper torso detaches from the main body, and attaches to the wheelchair (with a lower body on it). You can wheel your robot around this way.

She can ride shotgun in your car with a balanced carseat type thing that straps in. Install her torso on that and you don't need a wheelchair van (torso removes and attaches to either the passenger seat or the wheelchair when on a walk / date or to the main body at home), the wheelchair folds up like a more complicated, slightly heavier lawn chair.

@VooDooMedic lol, yes I suppose you could just crudely put her torso into a large baby seat. But there's no good way to market that. "Just throw it in a car seat!"

If you have to buy one, might as wrll buy one which has a battery pack and fits your android so she sits upright next to you.

@RoninGrey not at all, "You look after your pets with travel cages, you look after your kids with baby seats, look after your little android with this ready to go car seat, never worry about getting them in and out of the car, with this seats easy pivotal handholds you're able to manoeuvre them into the perfect position so there's no chance at unintended damage, for a low extra cost of 199$ we'll even custom fit it into your car"

@VooDooMedic I think you switched on me and we are now saying the same thing. Not a baby seat, but a custom-fitted one for your doll.

I should actually, no-lie try to patent this.

Follow

@RoninGrey nah don't, "Give all your best material away for free and you'll never have to worry about money" also you wanna encourage modifications and competition so imho I'm releasing all my material for free for a reason the whole reason I do this is for the love of the game
