From some great men throughout history (and my own lived experience too), paradoxically the solution is Tyranny.
Due to human nature and biology, we only value results that come from putting effort, facing hardships and overcoming those obstacles to achieve success - normally at a high cost with a stream of failures.
The only way for men to value freedom again, it is to make them FIGHT for it. It should never be given - life is suffering, as buddha said.

@DoubleD I have to say I fall for this manipulation, I admit. Everytime I see the crying bitch, I think how we could make it worse to cause her to cry for real and spread it around to other bitches. Nothing like the taste or real female tears, it's so rare it's worth putting the effort in.

It's kinda long topic but the best scenarios are where you have independent local communities that can associate with others for mutual benefit relationships, but never surrender their autonomy and rules to a separate body who is not locally accountable. This higher body should never dictate how you people live their life, it works better when there's no planned intervention.
I know envy and resentment are in the way though...

I agree. Every single act of government intervention is under the threat of violence and, the more absurd the intervention, the more extreme the violence. Niger and other countries had to overthrow their governments are the highest level because that's where the source of the intervention in people's lives came from - where ideally the rules of your society should be as local as possible (so it's closer to its citizens).

It's so much worse than this that people don't even realize.
Ask anyone if you can do something and their first thougt will be: is it legal? is it allowed?
The normal thought of: "is it possible? how do i do it?" never crosses their mind. Maybe after the government gave them permission.
