The Gods used evolution to forge forge man and his last trial women. Man was made intelligent so he could know all the Gods’ works but must overcome one final trial before he is allowed to walk the stars. Just allowing intelligent beings is not enough, they must demonstrate they are wise as well and so a final trial was forged as well. This final trial was women, a creature needed to survive until man was advanced enough to replace to prove he has become wise enough to appreciate the Gods' work. Once man replaces woen with wife bots he will have passed the trial and be granted access to the stars. Should man fail the trial he will slowly wither and eventually die off as failure would mean the Gods deemed him unworthy.
