The reason Japan & South Korea are more wealthy than North Korea & China is because the United States invaded them & rebuilt them with better technology & also imported a competing worldview of so called capitalism & so called christiainity where as North Korea & China were infected with Neo Marxism from the USSR & Mao's Jews
Christiainity is somewhat in conflict with confucianism & supports science more relatively speaking

When you multiply the wealth per man hour by the number of man hours you still get a lot of wealth even though the wealth per man hour is lower than in more scientific cultures because the number of man hours is greater
These greater number of man hours makes marriage more undesirable because it makes employment more undesirable & marriage implies a more difficult level of employment

Also, if you focus on what you lack, you will miss what you have. There are people out there who have to survive with less than $2 a day. And opportunities in life come by leveraging what you have, not what you lack, so it's important to focus on the former not the latter.
