Assuming the very likely possibility that Sudden Infant Death Syndrome is just a cover for mothers killing their own babies, think about the implications of all the PSAs telling mothers to be on high alert for SIDS. It means that we are scaring the hell out innocent to provide cover for the guilty.

Reminder that there are people who are stupid enough to think that they can take on an elephant in a fight. Sure, many of the other categories are also ridiculous such as a gorilla or a grizzly bear, but at least they are closer to the size of a human. An elephant? Just what do these people think they can do to harm an elephant bear handed? There is a reason that elephant guns are a thing, and it just might have something to do with the fact that regular guns don't do jack shit to an elephant.

@WashedOutGundamPilot I get being genuinely funny is not a talent everyone possesses, but are some people so lacking in self awareness that they think this would be considered funny in any way? I am well aware Zoro has no sense of direction, and repeating that "joke" while adding nothing to it with your bad cosplay makes it worse.

If they want to cosplay as the fake Strawhats, they could nail that perfectly. But that might hurt their feelings to consider that they are fat like those characters.

@WashedOutGundamPilot What does "defending freedom" even mean these days anyways? I for one am not feeling any stirrings to fight so that we can keep gay marriage legal in more countries while I get told that I am an evil oppressor due to my skin color. I am not going to be fighting for our fake democracy so that assholes can steal elections and tell me that it was "the most secure election ever" while blackholing any statements that went against that narrative.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Also, OH NO MUH NUMBER OF CASES fearmongering. First, cases mean jack shit with the tests being bullshit in the first place, as well as the vast majority of the people testing positive not being even close to dying.

Second, remember when testing would be required if you did not take the clot shot? Gee, I wonder who is getting tested more often, given that they are often forced to do so for bullshit reasons, such as MUH EXPOSURE TO COVID (because of a BS test popping +).

@borzoi Just think about what would happen if you took away their luxuriois lifestyle. What would they be? Probably nothing, as they never learned how to build themselves up. Such is the case with many descendents who were not the original creators of wealth. They pride themselves as better than you, even if they have no real accomplishments to even remotely justify this.

They see other whites as peasants below them. Even though they are really no better themselves.

@borzoi I will add this point: these people live in a bubble. They have not grown up in a household where their parents told them they could not afford something. They have no had hardship with finances, but luxury. One who has only experienced that sort of life on easy mode has no idea what it means to have to work for something. Therefore, they do not appreciate the hard work others before them have done towards making civilization.

Saying "you're on your own" without providing any sort of help is just heartless, but you certainly don't want to give them too much "help" to the point where they have no sense of work ethic or understanding of money.

There is a reason many rich people create trust funds for their children. It's because they failed to instill work ethic and real skills.

Unfortunately, with a mixed economy that is neither purely free market nor purely communist, we are always stuck fighting over how far we attempt each of these opposing plans. Obviously a pure communist approach will fail, but in theory should fail quickly enough, which gives people a chance to realize it won't work. The split the baby approach gives commies enough plausible deniability to just blame capitalism for the failings of their plans. You know this because we see them do it every time.

A less political example is the goal of reaching a million dollars in net worth. One approach is to go all in on a get rich quick scheme. This will most likely not work and just make you poor. But if it does work once, you will reach the goal.

The slow and steady approach is far more likely to succeed, but it is slow. Not only that, but the very implementation of that plan simply cannot work alongside a get rich quick scheme, as you are unable to make such risks.
