A good woman should be able to find a quality man if she is a good woman. Being a good woman would also necessitate her knowing how to spot one and knowing where she should look, as well as preparing herself for marriage (i.e. not being a whore in her 20s).

@WashedOutGundamPilot I hope this woman has been told "you need job experience to have this job." Also circular logic here, where the job you are wanting would give you said experience.

@WashedOutGundamPilot I really hate this circular logic. "How can I know if you are a catch or not if someone else does not verify that for me?" I know, psychology and social proof will affect your opinions, but they should not be the sole measuring stick for whether or not someone is worth a relationship.

I never would have been able to have the wife I had if she applied that thinking to me. Because yes, I was not exactly killing it in the dating market prior to meeting her.

@dave @sj_zero I have the theory that the "fine" is more of a means to an end rather than the end itself. That is, they want to be able to stop anyone they want from using their service by saying "If you don't pay the fine, you can't use Paypal." They do not care about collecting that money, but rather keeping people in line.

They may have walked it back, but don't be surprised if you see this tactic in the future. It is the perfect way to silence anyone they want.

@dave Maybe someone should have brought up the fact that men and women are different, not just in how they look but also how the think and act. But no, that goes against the idea that we are all the same and interchangeable!

Also, destroying male spaces has been terrible for men as well. Just imagine how many men would be better off with some brotherhood among your fellow men so that you can get some masculine perspective on how to deal with your problems in life.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Let me tell you, I feel a hell of a lot less patriotism for America these days when they tell me that I should stand and defend a country that will absolutely throw me in prison if I ever were to expose any corruption by the politicians and deep state.

Not that I have anything I can expose, but if I did, you know they would send some glowie goons after me. Which tells me that our country being free is just a lie.

Oh no, what will those invaders do to us? Will they tax us, compel us to follow bullshit laws, and feed us propaganda about how they are controlling us for our own good? Was listening to NPR, talking about new FDA guidelines for food. And the topic of "body shaming" came up. We all know what it really is, fat women complaining that they are not being validated as just as healthy as someone who actually eats a proper diet and exercises.

And yes, I single out fat women because fat men rarely ever deny that they are taking poor care of themselves and are unhealthy. Only fat women try and play the denial game, with HAES and all that nonsense.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Generally the "reason" these women fail to heed the warnings of the red flags is either that they had no strong father for reference for what a man should be, but instead gravitate to traits that make them feel tingly inside, which does not correlate strongly with a man being suitable to be a father. Such women filter on what makes them feel good in the moment rather than being sensible. This is why fathers are asked for the blessing in marriage, prevention of stupidity.

@furgar I don't know what a Shein haul is or why it costs 100 dollars for toes, but those are red flags for sure. That, and the fact that she is either a single mom or a divorcee. Neither is a good option. Avoid at all costs.
