@ImperialAgent they think near-surface water temperatures increasing by a fraction of a degree is going to result in extremely violent storms and rogue waves, changing ocean currents, all kinds of crap that's going to make ocean shipping much more dangerous and expensive

not only is that totally unsupported nonsense, but the trend in ocean temperatures they're trying to display comes from often-falsified data, and the real data is almost useless because it's so sparse and has such a large margin of error

in short it's just another part of the fearmongering global warming grift

@BigTLarrity Unfortunately, many people still live in ignorance that it was a farce. I had a family member of mine bringing up "the new variant" and how they would probably have another booster and how "we just don't know how severe it will be."

Some people only get information from the "approved" outlets without realizing that there is a whole lot of valid information contrary to the bullshit propaganda.

@ButtWorldsMan Fun fact: he regularly tells his critics that they should challenge him to a fight. One reviewer who goes by the name Seanbaby challenged him, and Uwe Boll backed out because he found out Seanbaby has a Muay Thai and he was not counting on fighting a guy who could not only fight back but probably kick his ass.

@Mr_Mister The debates are for the most part pointless. If you are someone who is going to be swayed to vote for someone based on a debate, you are the very type of voter I do not want voting. This sentiment more so applies to the non-nomination debates, but still applies to those ones too.

It is better to look at the actual platforms of the candidates and weigh whether or not those plans can actually be brought to fruition. Which usually is not often, but it is more substantial than a debate.

@nice-nigger @deprecated_ii @monsterislandcolonizer Not sure how I summoned him, but here he is!

Just because math is hard for you does not make me a demon.

@deprecated_ii @monsterislandcolonizer Every one of these debates could be avoided if we just use a big line for division instead of the ÷ symbol. That symbol in an equation feels completely unnatural when you want to piece together an equation. The line with the numerator and denominator defined (be it a single number or an equation) is easier to work with.

Part 3 - Final

Despite this final warning, the merchants continued on their way. Just as the man said, the donkey collapsed, unable to move any more. And the merchants were unable to sell any of the merchandise they had on the donkey, and instead completed their journey empty handed.

Part 2

After some discussion, the merchants tell the man, "You are right that the load is too much for the donkey to carry. But the things are too heavy for us to carry and we cannot agree which things to take off of the donkey. Every piece of merchandise is too important to leave behind. So we must continue just as we were."

"The donkey shall surely die before you make it to your destination, and you will have none of the merchandise make it." the man replied.

Part 1

A man is traveling by foot when he sees a party of merchants walking in the opposite direction. With that party is a donkey who is heavily burdened with all the merchandise. The man noticing the donkey ready to collapse, states, "That donkey is carrying too much! Take off some of those things so that he does not die from exhaustion!"

The merchants take a look at the donkey and see that the man is correct. They start to discuss among themselves what they should do.

@southpole21 If you ever want to make the safest bet possible, put money on whether or not someone who is wearing a mask is vaxxed or not. You will always win when you bet they are.

Funny also how there was so much bragging about how "I don't have to wear a mask because I am vaxxed" when the only people who are doing so most certainly got the shots.

I previously thought that Covid had been dropped by everyone as something relevant. But apparently, I was wrong, as I got one family member talking about how "the new variant is out there" and "we just don't know how that will affect things."

I said nothing. Because there is no point trying to save someone that deep. If they are boosted (a pretty safe bet), then we will see if they are doomed. I don't think everyone who took the vaxx is necessarily doomed, but I sure as shit won't take it.

@TeaTootler @WashedOutGundamPilot To me the name just sounds homosexual. Maybe it is but I don't know. Most anything that is "popular" is suspect when it comes to the normiesphere.

@WashedOutGundamPilot You can avoid making a lot of bad decisions by not indulging in a retarded FOMO mindset.

Does someone who never smoked meth need to smoke meth to realize that their life is better not smoking meth? No. Does someone need to serve prison time to realize that they enjoy not being in prison? No. Does someone need to live on the streets for a year to realize they would prefer to have a place they can live? Also no.

Women are more likely to be more unhappy with melly's advice.

haha, we’re so far gone skanks with a half dozen men’s seed coursing through their pipes are thinking they’re closer to being chase virgins than streetwalkers.

YOWZA

@ButtWorldsMan @Tfmonkey I simply do not have sympathy for anyone who would have been kicked out of their rental place if they exploited the eviction moratorium by not paying rent when they had the means to do so. Nor do I feel bad if those same people could not find a place to rent later when surprise, people are less willing to provide rental property.

"But landlords are awful parasites!" Those who would choose not to pay when they could are the actual parasites.
