@Aether Keep in mind that these "never had a boyfriend" types differ greatly from guys who "never had a girlfriend." Unlike those men who are also likely virgins, these women who "never had a boyfriend" are very likely to still have had a string of casual sex partners or "situation-ships" where they sleep with a guy but have no official relationship.

Also, it is not as if they could not have a boyfriend if they just make their standards more reasonable.

I should clarify that my problem is also that he is a stupid thief too. That conclusion he stole is not worth stealing, as it is merely justification to claim that liking traps is not gay (it is). A smarter man would find better material to steal than this. And I cringe at him passing off this fetish crap rationalization "high level thinking."

@LaoBan @thor @leftforfed65 Are these people unaware of the sanctuary laws that are in place for infants? Any mother could take her unwanted baby to a hospital and legally surrender the baby away from her care.

And before I get told "Who is going to adopt them? There are too many kids unadopted!" there is a long waiting list for people wanting to adopt babies. Yes, sadly older children have a harder time, but this does not apply the same for babies.

I feel bad for the younger generation of men who see his content thinking he is a great thinker when really he is just copying other people's work and pretending it was his own.

@Humpleupagus I blame it on too much feminization of the culture. Women are the ones that care about "tone" and placing feelings above all else. And then boys are now being taught to have this effeminate style of thinking, and too many of them are taking that to heart.

Is it any wonder our society is in decline with feelings being considered the highest priority? That leads to a lot of decisions that are very bad in the long run.

@Tfmonkey though either way, these women are having less kids as a result. So having women pursue more college for more years does indeed decrease the total number of births, regardless of the thought process or reasoning.

@Tfmonkey I have a theory on the whole fertility intentions study with men and women. I do not doubt the answers are accurate, but I suspect that the more highly educated women have a sour grapes mentality. That is, it is not that they do not want more children, it is that they cannot have as many children as they originally wanted due to being older, so they claim "I only wanted 1 kid anyways" as it is easier than admitting that they squandered their fertile years chasing more degrees.

@alex When you see no more commits, you start to wonder if the project DIED or if they are just taking a break. Because it just seems odd when SUDDENLY there are no more updates.

@WashedOutGundamPilot In many ways online dating is worse due to the artificial abundance that comes from the numbers game.

"There are so many men/women to choose from! Surely I have great chances of finding someone!"

Except everyone else wants to insist they are the exception rather than the rule for the reason the dating market is messed up. And along with that, loads of fake/bot/catfish accounts that pad the numbers.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Granted, I did meet my wife with online dating, though I consider that working out for me not through anything I did well, but by the grace of God. Because universally the dating market is really messed up, online or offline.

Online dating/dating services are more acceptable overall, but still many of the people using them are those who are not successful but are thinking they can game the system instead of working on the reason why they are failing in the dating market.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Of course they chose the best ones they could find. If they showed what the average clients looked like, many people would not want to use the dating service. People who use dating services are those who were not able to find success in "the real world" for whatever reason. Though often, the reason is that they themselves are not that much of a catch, but they are hoping that they can find a cheat code to get ahead.
