China now has a working “MSR” thorium reactor in the Gobi desert. The US had the option of going Thorium vs Uranium back in the 1970’s but decided against it because you can’t weaponize Thorium.

@Justicar Why do you separate the state from the elected body I.e. people? Government prior to the 19th Amendment was made up of primarily men. Ergo women were given voting rights by men.
