What if they were told to write the program to run on high end hardware exclusively to force people to buy high end hardware to play the games in order to sell high end hardware
My theory is the programmers are lazy and or incompetant
Also Final Fantasy 7 is not a video game it is a movie

when trump decided to try destroying the US government from the inside, i was expecting basic utilities and services of my basic bitch life to break, but no, all that happens is that all the stats in all the things start getting relatively bad. that is, it just became inefficient.

Someone I know who was really bad at math and who told me they got fired from a previous job counting money as a street vendor because they were so bad at math and so they said they worked to improve their math and they were still bad at math after this improvement
They told me they had an employer at a security company who would under pay them and when they pointed it out they reimbursed them and said most employees do not catch us doing that and we usually keep the money
