So sodium in the sodium chloride type of salt used in food raises blood pressure in some people, possibly by effecting blood water volume

But the same Sodium helps prevent dehydration when taken with water and foods that naturally have potassium like tomato juice, bananas, orange juice, soy beans, milk and soy milk as well as other foods

Some medicines to deal with blood pressure reduce the blood volume in your body by making you pee more

This makes less blood to pump

So it is very profitable for doctors to get paid to do a surgery and then paid a second time to undo the surgery but even after it is undone it is not really undone and the patient has worse health
