I would guess that the percent of black people who join the military for that reason is higher than the percent of white gentiles

I thought this was a metaphor for walking into a more dangerous neighborhood when attacked so that other people who are dangerously aggressive attack your attacker and also attack you but end up protecting you from the person that attacked you
