I am considering expanding my business ventures to purchase a relative's agricultural land, but to do it, I'd have to mortgage the assets. I'd also have to run the agri business full time or get little sleep during harvest season.
I have time before the relative retires, and he's interested in me apprenticing under him because none of his kids care about the business.
It's a frightful prospect, but its also an amazing opportunity if I can make it work.

The Treaty of 1213

The Power of the Vatican and the 3 City States

"This was the Treaty of October 3, 1213, where King John surrendered his kingdoms to the Pope, and as the’ Vicar of Christ’ the Pope claimed ownership of everything and everyone on earth as was his belief.

Where in the Bible did Jesus give any man this kind of power over all men and all land? He didn't. He did not create a religion nor did he create the office of Pope."

@shortstories Find a buddy with land and practice farming. At some point in the future, not starving in the cities and grubbing in the dirt will be a pretty good deal.

If there were no news anchors that would reduce the bird Flu from a pandemic to a thing that happens some places sometimes that no one hears about

This morning I came across news of a brawl at a National Trust area of outstanding natural beauty. My first thought was that it would be one shade of nigger or another, as the white people who take an interest in these areas are not inclined to fight there. Sure enough it was a bunch of Pakistani's or something. It's all the more damning, since there have recently been concerted propaganda campaigns to make the countryside less white. Mission accomplished! dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1

@DoubleD

There are some robots that post information from news articles on here I follow them

@DoubleD

If someone built a robot that boosted every comment that was text but no pictures 24 hours later after it was posted then that might increase the percent of visible posts that are discussions

@DoubleD

I just block out robots that post pictures and follow all the people that post any text that is something other than pictures that look like they are actually talking about something instead of just posting pictures at least one time

As the tax rate increases more and more people will want to quit working because they can not produce enough to support themself after tax and the tax will go to support someone else

But technology can improve how much each person produces so that in spite of the increased wealth loss through taxes they still produce enough to support themself

This might result in eternal torture of male tax payers by the welfare system that gets worse and worse every year with no revolt to end the torture

"27 Then he said to them, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.’” 28 The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died."

The mainstream media would call Moses anti-semitic if he said that today

@bobbala @givenup

And he took the calf the people had made and burned it in the fire; then he ground it to powder, scattered it on the water and made the Israelites drink it.
