Statistical significance testing has never proved any claim

Sociology professors are being evil and sneaky

They do not tell sociology students that they will be made to do lots of statistical significance tests

They rope in students who are really bad at math and trick them into studying sociology by removing all the statistical significance tests from YouTube videos

But when they do their sociology so called research they will be forced to do all the statistics which includes math they were trying to avoid but at that point they do not get money back

Physical science also came from trying to direct people away from “confused modes of thinking”. People used to think the earth was flat, that leeches cured you. Now social science is dealing with people who think black people are dumber and more violent than white people. Both equally important. Any findings of physical science is worthless if reserved to only benefit those in power. Furthering the racial, class, and gender divide
