@sim I feel like they put a lot of effort into trying to look like they assembled themselves from shit found at the thrift store. Motherfuckers trying to look like a sloppy impromptu postmodern collage; the excessive-haircolor girls do this, too. I actually *am* assembled from shit I have laying around and it's not considered fashionable.

My overnight bag was a gift from my grandmother in the late 1990s and it is a thing that looked fashionable to a woman in her 70s back then: it matches nothing that I own, it is hopelessly unfashionable, I look retarded carrying it around and I found this out when, a few exes ago, I was told that under no circumstances would she be going away for the weekend with me again if I brought that luggage with me. I'm no longer with her so I no longer borrow one of her overnight bags when I go somewhere so I'm back to this horrible looking thing. I feel like people have spent a lot of effort trying to look like they don't care and it's way easier to actually not care.
