If that did happen, no one has said anything about that in any official way. There would be no reason to assemble it disassemble the rifle.

Maybe that story changes at trial, but that hasn't been the story, yet. Not by anyone who testified at the hearing. And there was plenty of play by play testimony given, supported by video.
