Years ago I talked to a Chinese man and he told me he lost his keys and another Chinese person found them and sent him an email demanding money in exchange for his keys, he said this is just standard policy for how things operate in China, this was in the United States of America

If you suspend the writ of habeas corpus, there is no judicial authority to review if somebody is illegal or not. The administration could declare me illegal, throw my white ass in prison indefinitely, and there ain’t shit to be done about it.
