Why do most people who go major in social sciences like anthropology, sociology, psychology, political science or communications choose these majors

Some might argue because they are just lazy and others might argue because they are manipulative but whether manipulative or lazy it could also be described this way

because they want to use or learn to use social skills to trick people into forcing other people to doing physical and mental labour for them on their behalf
