@shortstories I'm pretty sure violent behavior is punished enough as it is. The problem with the west is precisely that they ONLY punish physical violence. It's why women get away with crimes, it's why men can't act directly and have to use female tactics to climb the social ladder and backstab each other.
Most old-school men are either dead or in jail. Violence is the solution to many of the world's problems right now. We don't need more jails to protect the weak from the harsh reality.

Because politics is only a symptom, we're the problem. You could replace all the elites and pass whatever laws you want. NOTHING will prevent the system from becoming corrupt again, unless the people physically resist. The current spoiled masses who only care about free stuff and endless consumption, cannot be saved. They need to be culled and only then can the system heal.

The problem with voting is everyone can do it. You're right that the popular outcome isn't always the best outcome. If you want to increase that correlation, you have to reduce the voting population to those whose interests align with the country's (pay taxes, are drafted, aren't parasites, etc.)

As is, voting is 100% useless, fraud aside.

I'd expect better from someone who watches TFM but then again, do you watch his stuff? TFM's beliefs are opposite to yours on any of these issues (gays/religion/animals/sadism/etc.)

I have remained quite consistent actually, I think the confusion stems from you putting people in categories that don't fit reality.
First you said you used to occupy the same circle I did in the Venn diagram. Well, that turned out to be false, since you're having a hard time just understanding my beliefs.

@UncleIroh It's not that the Universe is goal-less, it's just that the Universe's goals transcend the individual and even though they exist, our insignificance gives us a relative amount of freedom to live as we please.
When I criticize a religion like Christianity, I'm criticizing the institution, not the individuals' faith. I'm not saying the people are wrong for having beliefs, I'm saying the religious institution took ownership of their beliefs and used them to control the masses.
