For sure that is good advice but its not always applicable. For me that new job is a step down, small company, and mostly remote. I don't mind the drop in pay for the work from home deal. The start up I'm currently with is having money issues but almost full funded so I'll be working two full time jobs for the short term. Salary wont matter that much at this point.
