They seem to understand in that they can't deny statistics I've provided, but they disagree because "you just have to find a good one", meaning they still believe the gamble is worth it, even though none of them play the lottery to my knowledge.

@ButtWorldsMan Even from one's enemies there are lessons to be learned provided you learn them while said enemies cannot harm you. Additionally, there is a difference between giving the benefit of the doubt and examining someone.
