@UncleIroh To this point, I've been considering what is required for this type of attitude to surface in a family. I believe it must come from first a strong male figure from which emanates this kind of reassurance, whether that figure is a female's father, husband, social leader etc. Where males lead whether in action, attitude, or intention, there females follow, whether that is to weakness or to nobility. I'm certain there exist other factors, but this is my first inclination.

@Pain66 "Under 12" Yep. That checks out. An article written about girls being better than boys in the one timeframe that they begin to have a developmental advantage.

It's not relevant though. An article in "The Female Quotient" means as much to the course of human events as the opinion of a tenant farmer near Londinium during the Crisis of the Third Century.

@Stahesh An accurate description of selling to the lowest common denominator.

@UncleIroh I love this side of Japanese culture. It is overflowing with wholesome moments just like this.

@Pain66 Actually, this is a myth. She was 10 years younger than her older sister. Her older sister was 27 when Islam began, making Aisha 17 and Islam began when Mohammad was 40, and he was 55 when he married her, which means she was 32 years old when he married her.

@Pain66 I don't understand the context, but this is accurate.

@Pain66 According to all three Abrahamic religions, that is blasphemy, and she would lawfully be stoned when the books were written.

@ButtWorldsMan Also, I see what you did there. A good referential joke that was.

@ButtWorldsMan She's a vegetarian (possibly pescatarian if she's splitting hairs) or a vegan, and what's more, she has shown her solipsism: It doesn't affect me; therefore, it doesn't matter.

I would say this proof that she is a female, but at the same time, the West largely has this attitude. It is a female society.

@Chimi_Chuang_Tzu @Tfmonkey I'd argue that it's likely more of a logarithmic graph because there are diminishing returns after a certain point of control. There will always be rebels and dissenters, but the principle holds.

@marlathetourist @Tfmonkey
If you want to live on a boat to survive the collapse, I'm sure you could do it, but you should have years of experience piloting.

Additionally, the donations on Saturday read like an ad. The language was too stilted. If someone truly wants to know drouges, research pro/con lists. If all you find on a product is 100% support, you are right to be suspicious. Trust your BS detector!

@marlathetourist @Tfmonkey Drouges are not new technology. Ancient ships used to use large rocks tied to long ropes to do the same thing. They stabilize ships in stormy weather, but there is no such thing as "storm proof" or "sink proof" just like there is no shore thing in investing. (pun intended)...

@ButtWorldsMan It's smart than getting drunk on the weekends, but I suppose we value our time differently.
