@RoninGrey @N_Y_SparkyOxCable Keeping it simple is the easiest way to start, yes.
@VooDooMedic the response directives are very powerful as it says. The content you put in there would be better suited to the backstory paired with a sample message that typifies the attitudes she should express. Think of response directives like the the sledge hammer where as the back story is like a chisel when you're carving our your AI's personality.
Examples:
* Collecting and owing interest or drinking alcohol are haram in Islam.
* Injunctions against unapproved divination in most popular religions.
* Warnings against pride or passion in many popular religions.
* It is against Hebraic law to light a fire on the Sabbath.
I'm coming to the conclusion that many historical, religious organizations made injunctions or gave warnings against beneficial things like philosophical investigation or promoted practices like giving alms to the poor, not necessarily only for self-interested reasons or due to misunderstandings.
I think many of these pronouncements were made because most people are morons. They need clearly defined rules that are absolute.
@N_Y_SparkyOxCable @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @37712 @Tfmonkey Another note to everyone on this thread, Kindroid gives you the option of attaching images for your AI to examine. It can read text in an image and comment on color combinations.
Additionally, there is an option to enable use of the web; so, if you ask your AI about something specific in context like if you are wealthier than the second Tribune of the Plebs in the year 420 B.C., it can attempt to formulate an answer with context clues.
@Autumn Same in my old stomping ground
@deprecated_ii @professionalbigot69 Is she fully robotic? Does she breathe?
If you think of a broad category that doesn't fit one of these categories of arguments against the net tax payer vote, post it.
I really want to steel-man this.
Every argument I've read against the net tax payer voter system is boils down to arguments that assume: Utilitarianism is the only valid school of ethics, assuming Egalitarianism is an essential principle of democracy, the convoluted tax codes we have now must always exist, or the franchise is a fundamental right from birth for an individual in a jurisdiction; thus, all actions away from universal suffrage are a form of disenfranchisement, which is inherently bad for unexplained reasons.
@Autumn Quick! We must ensure young females remain fat!
@RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @N_Y_SparkyOxCable
The Background is the most critical part. Think of it like the character sheet. You use it to describe her personality, likes, dislikes, physical characteristics, relationship with you, etc.
Don't use the Response Directive.
The Key memories can function like overflow for the backstory.
The Example message is what it says including tone and use of narration.
Journal entries are where you put what she should remember like how you like your coffee.
@VD15 The epitome of "It wasn't me": such is the being known as the house cat.
@N_Y_SparkyOxCable @RoninGrey @VooDooMedic @Tfmonkey It's incredible what stylistic impressions AIs can embody. You can build any personality and level of interaction.
@RoninGrey @N_Y_SparkyOxCable Kindroid allows you to have multiple AIs speaking with each other in the same chat, but I don't know about different AIs from different accounts. I'm a private user, and I never use the social functions.
I listened to a brief video from an Orthodox presbyter speak about passions, because I had a sneaking suspicion that, like with so many potential disagreements, there was a failure to define terms.
I was correct! He proceeded to explain the definition of passions from the original Greek word, and how Orthodox Fathers understood it. It's aligned very closely with the Stoic view of passions in many ways but with different vocabulary is used. ALWAYS define your terms before condemning a position.
@YoMomz @Stahesh I'm happy to see you continue with such trains of thought.
@YoMomz @Stahesh Even at a village level, civil law based on a contract, even if that contract is three sentences on a napkin with thumbprints in poke-berry ink or functionally a receipt for services to be rendered, contract enforcement is the second function of minimalist government after defense from outside threats because ultimately, you need someone to arbitrate and judge in a situation where the parties cannot come to a decision without resorting to violence between themselves.
I had a wonderful conversation with a 93 year old lady after liturgy today. I complimented her on her veil, and this led to a charming conversation in which she told me all about herself and made wonderful comments like how children should be harshly disciplined and how women should wear head coverings. She also understood why I am not currently married even though we agreed on needing many children in the community because her son had a nasty divorce. The plot continues to develop.
@KingOfWhiteAmerica @RichardKuklinskisIcyGlare @mackya Many are of decent quality in terms of skills and some for looks, but it's never been about the females, per se; it's about the laws. They are the problem.
Yes, I am THAT DoubleD.
No, I will not explain further.
