Reminder that we can come back to any of these at any point; it's not always a straight progression, and grief doesn't necessarily always go away permanently.
But "Acceptance" is always there to arrive at. Persevere.
In the Bible, I use the story of the virgins who had enough oil in their lamp to wait, when the groom takes a long time to arrive. Be prepared to wait.
I love you guys. I prayed for you today.
Springtime always follows Winter -- even the long ones.
I just found out that for a while now they've been teaching kids the names of the planets by changing the "eager" part to "educated." That is, I learned "My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas."
But now even that had to be made cringy and feminist.
So now they say "My Very EDUCATED Mother Just Served Us Noodles / Nachos."
Gawd, it's so cringy. It doesn't even flow with the idea, with the image of serving food.
@dickflatteningenthusiast I'm jealous. My brother still rolls his eyes at my memes about Jews and women. He enjoys black fatigue memes, though. 🤷♂️
I try normie social media, but the comments are OVERRUN with retards, and I can't call them fags or niggers. I come here to be reminded that I'm not insane and there are people who actually know what the fuck.
@ccrowley100 It's the same with every attempt they make at making our people seem absurd -- we love it. Fight Club, Robocop, American Psycho. All supposed to be "parody" or "satire" showing "look how ridiculous they look!" And instead we look awesome, strong, and heroic.
Yeah, we DO like those heroes.
@nomebullyyou I'd imagine a good Catholic reply is to refuse to answer that question, and instead turn your gaze on him and say "I'll also gladly kill a Commie for Mommy." (Mary)
@N_Y_SparkyOxCable I've been so busy at work trying to stay ahead I still haven't finished it. That sounds great. Looking forward to hearing it!
@Gonzo17 "Crab mentality is real." At all levels. A training supervisor on site here was laughing at how this new hire black kid was asking questions about longterm growth. This supervisor is overweight, says "Sup, Ronin" instead of "Good morning," blasts TikTok at full volume at his desk, polices the guys' speech, says "ax" instead of "ask," can't spell for shit, has seen "The Wiz" but not "The Wizard of Oz," fist bumps instead of shaking hands, and likes to take credit for others' work.
@Terry Dumb bitch needs to stop posting pics before Reddit fags triangulate her damn position.
@CosmonautKatyusha The most recent data I saw (don't remember where) showed that at least 51% of online interactions (not just "activity" like purchasing bots) are bots, trying to influence the greater narrative / consciousness.
So literally just posting truth and having real people see it makes a difference. The meme war is actually a very effective front to win against our enemies.
Posting a screenshot of what I did find.
@nomebullyyou D-5. I've made that face before. I'd bet that's the one TFM made when he first used an SPR and pulled that muscle.
@N_Y_SparkyOxCable AJ from "The Why Files" was on Joe Rogan a few days ago. I started watching it in pieces, and I'm on a part right now where they were talking about giants and then the Grand Canyon and Joe was asking about why they're hiding civilizations "found in the early 1900's". 👀
@shortstories @N_Y_SparkyOxCable Dispensationalist. I don't think it's a pejorative term, just a short one for slang / abbreviation.
@N_Y_SparkyOxCable Yes, I watched thst Jason Jack episode and I liked how open he was to hearing him out and just letting him speak, rather than having a debate format. I didn't know he was "anti-Dispy" though, and you're right that's interesting to see in a Baptist.
I don't know shit. Don't listen to me.
