It's a big deal mostly for Nvidia GPU owners, who needed patching because Nvidia drivers natively are explicit sync only, which Wayland wasn't capable of before.

There's now native support for Nvidia drivers. Rejoice.

@Stahesh IMO it's an incorrect assumption employers will be around for much longer with an ever worsening business environment (shitty labor and crazy regulation with insane taxes) overall.
