@kaiservenom the early existentialist philosophers like Stirner and Nietzsche would have greatly benefitted from eastern philosphy like Zen, Taoism, and Advaita Vedanta to help round things out, but sadly they lived at a time when such texts were only first beginning to be sloppily translated into western languages.

The only western philosopher who embraced eastern philosophy was Schopenhauer, but he only knew Indian Buddhism, not Zen Buddhism, and obsessed over suffering.

@37712 Yes, it's organically federated. Whenever someone joins the server and follows someone outside the server, they'll appear in the federated tab, so just manually follow people to populate the federated tab for others.

@VooDooMedic They're operating under two false narratives.

1. inflation is transitory and will go away on its own of through tiny rate hikes of fractions of a percent.

2. The recession is a repeat of 2008, and the FED is going to "pivot" and lower rates/stimulate the economy once inflation is "tamed" by said fractional rate hikes.

@VooDooMedic No, it's worse than that, it's just normies going into cash because the quarter is closed so we're "officially" in a recession now.

They're going to sit in cash until the FED goes back to printing money I guess.
