I received my Sega Genesis Mini 2 and was playing Crusade of Centy, which I owned as a kid, and was enjoying the nostalgia trip for 3 hours until I died and was sent back to the very beginning of the game because I hadn't saved at any point until then.

The one game I wish the Genesis Mini 2 had which I miss from my childhood is Landstalker. It's another Zelda-like game like Crusade of Centy. It's part of the Genesis Classics collection on Switch apparently.

@RoninGrey I'm not crying. I've just got something in my eyes is all.

@mutageno Those are all good ideas, and can become small side businesses that you can sell or barter with in the future regardless of what happens.

@kaiservenom we played it in the patron pit after the Saturday stream while I was uploading.

@37712 @Pain66 That's the point. It's not even a debate, it's just about making them "look bad". It's a waste of time if you're actually interested in having a conversation.

@Pain66 If I roles were reversed I could easily do the same to anyone making a positive claim. It's as simple as dismissing their arguements and demanding sources, and subsequently dismissing their sources, until they quit.

That's it. There's nothing hard about it. It's just a matter of dismissing and demanding until the other person tells you to go fuck yourself.

I told Alex I didn't want to debate because I hate these annoying tactics, hence why I didn't have an encyclopedia of sources.

@mutageno I tried that at the beginning and he simply dismissed my questions as unrelated to the topic.

It's typical internet "debate" tactics. Dismiss argument, demand sources, dismiss sources, demand more sources, dismiss more sources.

Giant waste of time.

@ChuddyBuddy69 @CygnusX1 I'm still technically on YouTube, but I only publish sex toy reviews there now because anything else will get my channel deleted.

@CygnusX1 @PapaPole Yes, that's exactly why I don't "debate" anymore. I was told this was a good faith discussion and not a debate, and then was told I should be embarrassed for not 'proving' everything I'm saying with peer reviewed sources.

@kaiservenom @Pain66 Destiny isn't witty. I used to have these internet debates in the past and I stopped because I hate the 'do my homework" tactic of demanding sources, then dismissing them.

I could have prepared sources and you would have seen it, but I didn't because I was told this wasn't a debate and was lied to.

@CygnusX1 It doesn't matter. I'm more upset about having my time wasted.

@theFlow Playing with Fire asked nicely. In hindsight, it was a mistake and a waste of time. I specifically said I didn't want a debate because I hate the tactics.

I'm not afraid of debate. It's just annoying and a waste of my time. I've done it enough times to know.

@PapaPole realistically, there isn't anything I could have done.

I used to deal with these types before. Providing sources doesn't solve anything. They find reasons to dismiss your sources until you run out and then declare victory or send you hunting for more.

I call this tactic "do my homework".

@theFlow Why would I? I'm tired of "debates' where it turns into endless demands for more studies and sources and nothing gets discussed.
