@Stahesh

I first came across this phrase as a boy reading H.G.Wells. He wrote a short story called "The Country of the Blind", and it always stuck with me.

Arguably, the highest goal of a society is to optimize the conditions for producing the next generation, so that they can inherit prior achievements and build on them.

So simple. And it sounds so obvious when you say it out loud, except it couldn't be clearer that we have the exact opposite goals in play.

@DoubleD

Yes but we are never explicitly taught what a worldview is, how to think and argue in terms of one, or why they are useful philosophical tools.

Not as children at school or as young adults at college are we taught this, and you kind of have to question why that is.

Rare footage of TFM when his Twitter account got taken away.

Allegedly.🤣

Here's the deeper, more technical explanation of the double-slit experiment:

@prancing389

If you use QubesOS, you also get to use Parrot and Kali as first-class OS's if you want.

The worst I saw was a video of a Chinese man carrying his e-bike battery into a small elevator.

Just as the door closed the battery exploded and he was literally cooked.

@DoubleD

We are all finally getting to see and hear these various philosophical & religious ideas being thrashed out.

When it comes down to it, all of them are essentially battling for the minds and futures of the young.

In particular we're seeing Islam, Zionism, Feminism and progressive Enlightenment atheism under a brighter light than we've ever seen before, and many people hate what they see in clearer detail than ever before.

This is the real reason behind the mass Western censorship.

@DoubleD

One of the more interesting developments that the internet has created in the last 2 years has been the debate-sphere.

And in that sphere, the concept of "worldview" has gained serious ground - epistemology, ethics, metaphysics - as a way to encapsulate & evaluate opposing religions and ideologies.

The result has been fantastic. We're in the middle of global worldview MMA cage fight - redpill vs feminism vs tradcath vs atheist vs Islam vs Christianity vs Zionism vs communism, etc..

@shortstories

That's a good point. The van-plan relies on basic rule of law and societal trust.

@Justicar

Hard disagree. That's precisely what git policies are for.

@Justicar

You just have to assume that open source software is rife with bugs. Sometimes it's unintentional, other times they are malicious, effectively zero-day exploits.

Plenty of history here too. I remember the Heartbleed "bug" back in 2014 that compromised the openssl library. The effect was enormous.

More recently the log4j bug and of course the amount of npm fuckery is off the charts.

Check out the sneaky git commit on the attached pic, done when no-one would ever be looking.

@StarProphet @DoubleD

That was pretty based to notice that off the bat.

Skeletor also had the goods, you're in good company.

@VeganMGTOW

There are paths through this for the man who is totally committed to starting a family.

Those paths have constraints though. Your options are basically via a religious community, and/or moving abroad permanently, otherwise no.

@graf

That equates to 0.008512087% Somalians relative to Brazilians.
